Open access programme

Learning should not depend on what your family can pay.

The open access programme exists for learners whose education was cut short by money, conflict, displacement or circumstance. You study the same material as everyone else, you are marked the same way, and you finish with a certificate of completion in your own name.

No cost, no catch

Enrolment, lessons, marking and the completion certificate cost nothing. No card is ever asked for.

Built for slow connections

Lessons are written first and audio second, so they still work on a shared phone and a patchy signal.

Study now, sit exams elsewhere

Use what you learn here to prepare for a national or professional exam taken with the proper awarding body.

How it works

1. Tell us your situation

A short application asks about your background, what stopped your studies, and what you want to do next. Plain language is fine — we are not marking your writing.

2. A short internal assessment

Ten questions on reading, reasoning and study readiness. It does not test schooling you never had, and a weak score does not close the door.

3. A person decides

Our admissions team reads every application. Approved learners get their study costs removed in full, straight away.

4. Study and finish

You take the same lessons, assessments and marking as every other learner, and receive the same certificate of completion at the end.

A good place to start

If English is not your first language, begin with the phonics pathway — it teaches speech from the sound up and makes every other programme easier to follow.
