1 lesson · 12 practice questions · 1 assessed task

  1. 1. Cells, tissues and levels of organisation22 min study · 3 learning objectives · practical activity

How structure at every scale determines what the body can do.

  • Cells, tissues and organisation: marked task — marked out of 100, pass at 80%
02

Circulation, breathing and the nervous system

How the body moves oxygen, fuel and signals around itself.

1 lesson · 12 practice questions · 1 assessed task

  1. 1. Circulation, gas exchange and neural signalling22 min study · 3 learning objectives · practical activity

Moving oxygen, fuel and information around a large organism.

  • Body systems integration case — marked out of 100, pass at 80%
03

Immunity, infection and health evidence

Defence against pathogens, and how to judge a health claim.

1 lesson · 12 practice questions · 1 assessed task

  1. 1. Immunity, infection and judging health claims22 min study · 3 learning objectives · practical activity

How the body defends itself, and how health evidence should be read.

  • Immunity, infection and health evidence: marked task — marked out of 100, pass at 80%
